Whittimere Street Short Stay Car Park is a council-operated surface facility situated in the heart of Walsalls retail district. It features approximately 70 asphalt-surfaced bays, including two Blue Badge spaces near the entrance from Bridgeman Street. Open 8 am8 pm MondaySaturday and 10 am4 pm Sundays (free Sundays), pay-and-display machines accept coins and contactless payments. LED column lighting ensures safety after dusk, and CCTV cameras cover the entire lot. Pedestrian exits onto Carrolls Lane and Market Place place drivers within a two-minute stroll of Saddlers Shopping Centre, The New Art Gallery, and various independent boutiques. The site is especially popular with shoppers seeking quick visits to nearby cafés and department stores.
