Historic site parking for Woodhenge visitors
Located near Amesbury (SP4 8LY), Woodhenge Car Park offers 30 gravel-reinforced bays for visitors to the Neolithic Woodhenge site. Open daily from 9 am to 5 pm (extended to 7 pm in summer), parking is £4 per vehicle via cash-or-card pay machine; National Trust members park free. There is no lighting to preserve the archaeological landscape, so arrival and departure must occur during daylight. No disabled-specific bays or EV charging are available, though a flat grass area is reserved for blue-badge holders. A short gravel footpath leads directly to the interpretive board and site ruins within a 5-minute walk. Periodic ranger patrols provide site guidance.
