The Spread Eagle Car Park, managed through YourParkingSpace, is a secure, pre-book only surface lot serving visitors to the Spread Eagle pub and local residents. The facility offers 40 marked bays, including three accessible spaces located adjacent to the pedestrian entrance. Access is controlled by ANPR cameras that grant 24/7 entry and exit for pre-registered license plates; casual users may pre-book via the mobile app to receive a temporary access code. The site is covered by CCTV cameras and is illuminated by LED floodlights after dusk. A designated pedestrian route leads to the Spread Eagle amenities and nearby riverside towpath within a one-minute walk. Bus stops on Caversham Road provide links to Reading town center and Caversham. EV charging is not available on-site; the nearest rapid charger is located at The Riverside Car Park a ten-minute walk away.
