Asda Car Park is a free surface lot located off Asda Way, serving the Asda superstore and adjoining retail park. The tarmac facility offers 400 marked bays, including twelve Blue Badge spaces and eight parent-and-child bays near the store entrance. Open 6 am to 11 pm daily; parking is free for up to three hours, with ANPR cameras enforcing longer stays via a £2.00 per hour charge, payable via payment kiosks. LED floodlights provide illumination until 11 pm, and CCTV cameras cover all areas. Pedestrian exits lead to the Asda entrance (0.02 km), KFC (0.05 km), and local bus stops. Four 22 kW EV chargers are located near the stores service doors, free for in-store shoppers. Seasonal charity car washes reduce capacity by 20; signage directs drivers to alternative nearby lots. Biweekly maintenance includes litter clearance and bay repainting.
