Quiet parking at Cluster of Nuts nature entry.
Cluster of Nuts Car Park is a small rural parking area on Hallfield Lane, providing access to the Cluster of Nuts nature reserve and adjacent footpaths to Wetherby Ings. The gravelled surface, lightly reinforced with compacted stone, accommodates about 20 standard cars and 3 motorcycle spaces. The site is unmonitoredno pay-and-display is requiredbut users must display a free permit available from the local parish council to discourage abusive use. Once parked, visitors can follow a short bridleway to fields managed for bird conservation, with viewing hides overlooking the River Wharfe floodplain. The car park is open sunrise to sunset (approx. 05:1521:15 in summer); there are no lighting columns or on-site facilities, so visitors are advised to bring water and snacks. Overflow parking during peak migratory bird seasons is signposted to nearby Teston Lane layby.
