Recreation Car Park is a council-operated surface lot adjacent to the Recreation Ground and sports facilities. It offers 80 marked bays including six accessible spaces located near the entrance to the sports pavilion. Operating hours are sunrisesunset daily; no charges apply. The gravel-and-asphalt surface is lightly graded to manage water runoff, with quarterly inspections and minor repairs within 72 hours. LED bollard lighting provides minimal illumination for early-morning and late-evening sports events, and one CCTV camera monitors entry, exit, and pedestrian pathways. Pedestrian pathways lead directly to sports pitches (1-minute walk), play area (2 minutes), and to local bus stops (4 minutes). No EV charging stations exist on-site; visitors use public chargers at Bancroft Gardens Car Park, a 10-minute walk away. Weekly litter clearance and hedge trimming maintain a neat environment.
