Somers Road Allotments Car Park is a private surface lot dedicated to allotment holders, offering 50 marked bays including four accessible spaces located near the allotment entrance gate. Access is controlled by a coded keypad; no public or casual parking is permitted. LED bollard lighting provides minimal illumination during early-morning and evening gardening sessions, and one CCTV camera monitors the entrance and central bay area. The gravel-and-asphalt surface is graded for runoff, with quarterly inspections and minor repairs within 72 hours of reporting. Pedestrian pathways lead directly to the allotment plots (1-minute walk) and to nearby community gardens (2 minutes). No EV charging infrastructure is provided; allotment users must use public chargers at North Street Car Park (1995), a 12-minute walk away. Monthly litter clearance and hedge trimming maintain site neatness.
