Tesco Abbeydale Road Superstore Car Park is a large surface-level facility serving the Tesco Extra supermarket and adjacent retail units on Abbeydale Road. The lot offers approximately 250 tarmac-surfaced bays, including ten accessible spaces located closest to store entrances. Operating 24/7, the first three hours are free with a minimum £5 supermarket spend (use pay-and-display ticket to confirm), after which standard Tesco parking charges apply via machines accepting coins, banknotes, and contactless cards. CCTV cameras monitor all entry, exit points, and aisles; bright LED floodlighting ensures safe visibility at night. Covered pedestrian walkways connect directly to Tescos entrance and local fast-food outlets within a one-minute walk. Local bus stops on Abbeydale Road provide frequent services to Sheffield City Centre and Dore & Totley. EV charging is available via 12 rapid units located near the lots eastern boundary. Covered cycle racks accommodating up to 30 bicycles are provided near the store entrance to support sustainable travel. Regular surfacing and line repainting maintain organization and safety.
